A tattoo is a VERY personal thing so make SURE that what ever you decide on is something that you REALLY want! I have seen people who get a heart and a key....one will have the heart....the other the key to the heart. Try to think of something you BOTH like and work it together.

A friend of mine had the Chinese symbol for love/fidelity tattoo'ed on her ring finger...that way, even if she wasn't wearing her wedding ring, she'd still have a reminder of her enduring love for her husband. It is small and delicate, and you can barely see it under her ring...but both she and her husband know it's there and both find it incredibly sexy. Maybe you both could get matching tattoos on your ring fingers...it would be pretty quick to do, and a lovely way to demonstrate your love for each other.

How about opposite half of hears with a key with it. Like you hold the key to the other persons heart and the two haves mean that when jioned you have one heart and one mind. that is very romantic and i love it!

my friend's husband got the cards J (jack) and A (ace) stood for their names......without their names....first letter of each of their names.... make sense?

if you have kids, then get their initials or their birthdates. thats what me and my hubby did. that way if we split up its the kids names and birthdates.

get half a tatoo on you, and half on your husband, and when you press together it makes a whole tatoo!
