I agree with you to an extent, especially about the disappointment. However, there were some producers and rap groups particularly in the late 80s and early 90s who were very creative with their sampling. I think the Bomb Squad production team which worked with Public Enemy and Ice Cube did some pretty ingenious sampling.

You're full of crap. Does a piano player have no "real talent" because he uses the piano's sounds instead of making his own? It's a different art form. It's not wrong, it's just different. I'm sorry you're disappointed when you hear a song that's been remixed. However, I'd recommend you look at the song and see how other people hear it.

u should never limit yerself when creativity strikes. i am imprised by the sound of my wife breathing peacefully as she sleeps just as much as a song by beck. speaking of that old 'im a loser' cat, he released a cd a while back called sea change - its one of my faves. its all about serendipity, biochemistry, and divinty all play a role in how we fall in love and whether or not people fight for that love and work to maintain it. see, the key to the shift in thinking from crushes to real love is to understand that love, just as life, is fargile. take care of each other, and take care of the relationship first - never the individual first - that is a sure way to kill something special. know and understand what makes yer partner tick [i do that fully and completely to the point of driving her nuts! lol], and accept their differences rather than trying to change them. its ok if THEY change for themselves and u and its a blessing when someone actually wants you to be included somehow in that change [that is the highest love compliment]. and remember, if u already are the one for someone don't try and be elusive and think that will fuel passion - it does the opposite. communicate and consider yer partner at all times, never avoid them, never stop answering their questions or showing interest in them. display fondness and admiration, affection and respect. be clear, avoid conflicts, never use jealousy or sex as a weapon, always be positive, reinforce their confidence in body and mind image, be gentle, honour and create experiences together - not apart, maintain yer sense of self, boundaries, and most important, never neglect them. my wife is beautuiful, elegant, graceful, smart, creative, compassionate, loving and magical - she is and has always been the only one for me.

I think it adds extra flavor to the music... plus, it tricks you into thinking it's another song. It's a two-in-one!
