You're right. This really shows you where the democrats allegiance is. It's scary that they are buddying up with imams from Hezbollah. I don't know what the hell they're thinking.

i've got faith that the Demo's which I even have taken to call myself is this international isn't as significant as a guy's own soul, yet wherein i'm asserting for my own party that i think of that's good to be careful in a time of conflict, in a time of disaster. as quickly as some thing is already desperate on doing if the alternative you're making has effects it is going to alway's worsen earlier it get's greater effective. So no rely what the religion or what party you belong to treating those with appreciate is considered Love in God's eye's.

Thanks for highlighting this. This is one of defferences that we faced in Muslim societies around the world.
The statement in the article, intepretations of the Surah (verses), is one of many verses(surahs) that has been deliberately used by those evil Muslims individuals/parties, to poison the minds of young Muslims for hatred and atrocities in this world.
If you think the surah are interpreted that way, you belong to this group of people. And there is no reason for you you blame the radical Muslims for being narrow-minded as you yourself buy that interpretations.
It is not what you think.
I'll try to explain what is meant by every sentence of the surah later (i'll add more info later.) As I have to go out for a luncheon meeting with your pal, representatives from Bank of New York now.
*********************************************************************
All the "Jews" stated in the Koran is not meant for the Jews today. Nothing to do with the Jews today. Allah loves everyone be it Christians, Jews or Hindus. "He is The Generous & Loveable" (2nd sentence of 1st Surah- AlBaqarah)
**************************
Explanation on Islamic beliefs: Not to make you believe it, just for your information only, ok:-
(In the earlier days, the Jew(s) have got to know the revelation about the last prophet which will not be from their own race/ethnics. Since at that time, 'proud & pride' of one's tribe/ethnic was very strong as 'untouchable', made them impossible to accept it. They would not sacrifice the 'pride' for obeying God, thus refuse & misled all others. )
The then-Jew(s) refuse to learn from Abraham (PBUH), who had willing to sacrifice(more than just pride) his son(PBUH) for obeying God.
Just because "proud & pride", people today deny God.
And that is what revelation in AlQuran meant. It is for refence of denying the truth. It is just a reference to show an example of God's not favoring those who put 'proud & pride' more than obeying Him. That's all.
It is just a reference for today, for the ones who refuse to accept the truth/ follow the correct way, although they knew they are doing it wrong and misled others to the wrongdoings.
So now, can you relate some of wrong doing things that happen these days? like stealing, poisoning minds of people for all ill intention, slandering, oppressing, killing, committing suicide attack and all.
****************************************************
Now, the Imam who gave the speech and prayer with the Democrats was right & sincere. The article misled viewers.
The verses extracted from the AlQuranic 1st Surah is a sincere prayer for all.
The verses (sentences) are prayer asking God for peaceful/happier life, and avoid making wrong decisions that led the world to atrocities, destructions & despairs.
**********************
Wish you all the best & good days ahead.

No wonder Ayman likes the Democrats so much!
Al Qaeda Sends a Message to Democrats
December 22, 2006 2:28 PM
Brian Ross and Hoda Osman Report:
Al Qaeda has sent a message to leaders of the Democratic party that credit for the defeat of congressional Republicans belongs to the terrorists.
December 22, 2006 2:28 PM
In a portion of the tape from al Qaeda No. 2 man, Ayman al Zawahri, made available only today, Zawahri says he has two messages for American Democrats.
"The first is that you aren't the ones who won the midterm elections, nor are the Republicans the ones who lost. Rather, the Mujahideen -- the Muslim Ummah's vanguard in Afghanistan and Iraq -- are the ones who won, and the American forces and their Crusader allies are the ones
Zawahri calls on the Democrats to negotiate with him and Osama bin Laden, not others in the Islamic world who Zawahri says cannot help.
"And if you don't refrain from the foolish American policy of backing Israel, occupying the lands of Islam and stealing the treasures of the Muslims, then await the same fate," he said.

He is NOT praying to convert the Democrats to Islam. He even mentions Jesus in his prayer. The most "suspicious" thing he says is, "So guide us to the right path. The path of the people you bless, not the path of the people you doom," and much as some people might want to politicize it, that's no different from "the path of righteousness."
And then there's: "Help us God to liberate and fill this earth with justice and peace and love and equality." THE CAD!!!
World Net Daily gives an extremist take on what I see as a beautifully worded prayer.

Is this a surprise? It isn't to me. If this is what he says in English with reporters present, imagine what he says in Arabic without reporters present.
