Well, lets see. I would say because of the new casinos being built, or the existing ones are creating thousands of jobs (the bigger ones). Even though a person doesn't always win in one way, doesn't mean they're not winning in another.

They may be taking people who have been laid off and out of work for some time and giving them benefits, which they wouldn't have, they also get tips, which are over and above what they make. As long as they pay their taxes, I say it's okay.

The only casinos that don't are the one built by the Indians; however, all their profits, with the exception of wages, goes into their schools. That removes the tax burden for the states.
