I agree with My Immortal. We had a mock car accident at my high school. At the mock funeral, that song was playing and there wasn't a dry eye. So that song always makes me sad.

One more day by Diamond Rio.....I don't normally like country songs, but this one reminds me of my little cousin that disappeared years back and I always cry when I hear it. Here are the lyrics, but you have to hear the song to truly appreciate the beauty and sadness of it....
Last night I had a crazy dream
A wish was granted just for me
It could be for anything
I didn’t ask for money
Or a mansion in Malibu
I simply wished, for one more day with you.
One more day, one more time
One more sunset, maybe I’d be satisfied
But then again I know what it would do
Leave me wishing still, for one more day with you.
First thing I’d do, is pray for time to crawl
Then I’d unplug the telephone and keep the TV off
I’d hold you every second, say a million I love you’s
That’s what I’d do, with one more day with you.
One more day, one more time
One more sunset, maybe I’d be satisfied
But then again I know what it would do
Leave me wishing still, for one more day with you.
Leave me wishing still, for one more day
Leave me wishing still, for one more day...

That new song called Eyes of an Angel or something like that -- the guy is singing about the woman he loves, but he's married to someone else. I turn to another station every time this comes on.

Runaway Train, I forget who it's by, but it came out in the early to mid 90's. It's about kids who get abducted. Not connected to that story, but it came out around the time my first child was born and her dad loved the song, but a few years later he died. Now, every time I hear the song, I get depressed.
Other songs are depressing, but that one came to my mind first.
Great question.
