Check the 'sources' box for the link. After some time and patience I took my cable connection from 2 to 3.5 Mbs per second. It's rated at 4, but due to internet congestion you'll get the max only rarely. Try the speed test to get a fix on your speed then hit the tweak test fro the skinny on how to tweak it up. There's a FAQ and tutorial for those unfamiliar with doing this sort of thing.
Just be patient. It can take a few adjustments to get it maxed, just don't give up.
Good luck.

Often times, the actual limit of how fast you can download things is because of the limit the site you are downloading from has. I can download stuff at over 4MB/s, but most downloads i do dont ever pass 250-300kb/s

Go to www.pcpitstop.com and download their optimizer. Did a great deal of good for speeding up my computer all around, including download and upload speed, and was well worth it.
