I am supposed to recieve some important documents from Buffalo, NY. The people sending them, sent them by regular mail( i think its ground), on Jan 29th. i have been waiting almost one and a half weeks for the documents to arrive but havent got them yet. Amongst the documents is my passport that I am scared of losing. I live in Mississauga, ON which is almost a 2 hour drive from Buffalo. Am I anxious for no reason or should I be really worried?! Serious answers only please

I've sent mail from Canada to the US in the past, and it usually takes a while. Not too sure how it works the other way around, but according to the US Postal Services website, your mail could take anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks if it was sent by Economy.

They should have sent it express. You will be waiting at least 2-3 weeks for it, and possibly more than 6. You just shouldn't send a passport in anything but express!!

Yes you should be anxious because of identity theft. Also it depends on the documents they are sending you. If they maybe valueable to someone else.
