Yes, there will be a movie, im not sure when production will start though.

So far it seems like the project is still stuck in the mud. With the four main actresses engrossed in their own lives, be it movies, mothering, etc. an acceptable time doesn't seem to be arising. Another issue is fans fear that the whimsical fashionable series won't make the transition to the big screen. With woes such as what the story would be, the plot, where they are in their lives. Will it pick up immediately where the series ended, five years down the road. What? Also producers and directors are worried that, what fans wants to see their fashionistas domesticated, living in the Bronx with five kids, shopping at Wal-mart. I understand that, that wouldn't likely be the scenario, but. Yes we all love that Charlotte got her baby finally, Sam found love, Miranda found her family, and Carrie found her way home, but what would be next? I think I'll just happily sit by and watch the dvds, unless they can prove that its going to be huge!
