So dreadful. I had to repost this question 'coz last time I checked my question was gone!! Here it is again.

From my estimation if I was going to sell on ebay it's going to cost me more than $9000 a month.

(Average $1.5 listing fee per item) x (2000 items)
= $3000 for 10 day listing

So that comes to $9000 a month in selling fee! How is that possible? Profit of each item is only like $10~$20. How are people supposed to make money on ebay then??

First of all, you don't want to do a 10 day listing on 98 % of anything you want to sell - Why spend the extra $.40? Why not open a basic store for $15.95 a month and $.05 for 30 days per item to stock it. Have maybe 10 % of the store items on live auction to drive business to the store and continually recycle the inventory so there are many different choices on auction.

That's how I make money on eBay!

You can set it up to only charge you if the item sells I believe, and you're simply charged a percentage of what it sells for. I know you can do that on Amazon, i'm not positive about EBay.

do a five or a three day listing instead. don't offer paypal, strictly money order or cashiers check.
