Why would it mean anything in particular? Scientists don't understand dreams psychologically speaking (in a definitive manner) so there isn't a one size fits all answer here. You are probably ideally placed to answer this question yourself because you know what is going on in your life, what thoughts you have been having (including before bed), etc.

My guess: He symbolizes as being number 2, your number 2 self, meaning that you have not been assertive enough to be your number 1 in life, and the number one person in your life, yourself, has not be asserting the true you in communication with others. So if you are not being the genuine true you, the number one, in communication, you are living the number 2, false self to a degree.
