I don't think the FCAT should be the reason a student passes or fails a grade level. Teachers are only teaching students how to pass the FCAT, they are not teaching them important information. Stadardized tests should be a method of evaluation, they should just be there to show where a student or teacher needs to improve, I don't think a student should fail a grade or not be able to graduate becasue of one test.
On the other hand, this test is very easy and a normal student who maintains a C or higher should have no problem taking and passing this test.
