I dont think i need to clarify, look around. This country could be the greatest in the world. We could solve world hunger. We could care for all the medical necessities in the country. We could care about each other... we just dont. After all, the american dream seems to be "What can i get out of it", not "What can i do to make a difference?" Could you imagine just for a minute, what would happen if all Americans united under a common goal? Set aside our petty squabbles, and decided the people involved were more important than being right. What would the world look like then, do you think?

I envy you your youth and your heart! But I no longer care what I can do to make a difference. I tried, I failed, I became a Republican and got a decent paying job and learned that no else cares about you, you take care of your own.

I'm still the guy that will stop and help you change a flat.

I'm still the guy that will not do your 15 year old a favor and buy them cigarettes or beer.

I'm still the guy who will give a bum $2.00 as long as he doesn't lie to me and tells me the truth, that he wants to buy a beer or a bottle of cheap wine.

But as far as the world outside my area, I really could care less.

Because we are not God. We cannot do the work of God. We are mortal, and mortal think for themselves first. We, normal people, cannot see the future; we can only predict the near future. That is why we made mistakes. We are stubborn enough to blame our mistakes to each other, to God. That is why we cannot do what God did. If we could win against Satan, this world is heaven. Being a selfish, evil, sinful is easier than being a God. If people can understand this sin and repent, there will be hope for a better world.

See, most of us are not aware of our impending death. We are so busy caring for our "own". We, most of us, cant or dont want to see the rest.
Were us to realize that eternity will eventually claim us back to nothingness, we may do what is appropiate as a person/specie. But, thats a true challenge!
Realizations doesnt happen in masses, it does only at an individual level!
If you ever go on a diet, the best one is to share your food!:O)

I hate to tell you this, but not everybody shares your views. It doesn't make them wrong, just makes them different.

I frankly don't care much about the world's problems. I might be evil in your eyes, but hey, I also don't care what others think.

Cuz we've got enough of our own problems to worry about to focus on someone else.
