Are we cowards or fools ,when a terrorist like Mohd Afzal is caught then people among us take out processions to save that terror mind from his death penalty. What about those persons who lost lost their brave sons and daughters who died fighting empty handed with the heavily armed terrorists ,to save the parliament.
This is what happened when one of our plane IC 814 was hijacked and taken to kandahar , our country men instead of showing support to govt. they came out with large posters saying to release the terrorists and save their relatives. So what this means , there is no honour for the soldiers who died while capturing that terrorists. Are we just "living corpses" or " some pale men in petticoats". WHAT A SHAME

In situations like this it is best to put the killers in solitary confinment for the duration of their miserable lives. Killing them by hanging will just make them martyrs and a rally point for more killers. Lock the nut up in prison and let him rot there until he dies and recieves judgement from his maker.

Max: I don't know what country you are from, but I would like to take a stab at this.

Hanging Afzal will make him a martyr. Exactly what islamist fundamentalists want to be: They either turn themselves into martyrs by suicide, or they are turned into martyrs by countries that hang them.

Do you want Afzal to be forever idolized by Islamists who will use his martyrdom for further murder of innocents? ....

Sadly, fighting this filthy, lying, mob mentality islamist fundamentalism gangsters with their own "eye for eye" mentality is not working anywhere in the world. And, they will not sit down and talk, because they are not reasonable people.

In my opinion, the only way to stop this scourge on the face of the earth is to look to what the Mothers in Ireland did in the 90s.

After tense years of talking and open discussions between Mothers who desired more to hold their children in their arms than they did to bury them, the Women of Ireland took to the streets and demanded that the warring factions stop fighting.

And, you know something, it worked. For the most part, almost 100%.

We simply must find a way to live in a revenge free society. Will your family exacting revenge on Afzal's family bring an end to another family's misery?

Thank you for taking the time to think about this.

Peace be with you.

the problem with killing another mans freedom fighter is you turn them from fighter into martyre. THATS worse then just capturing them and putting them in prison.

What people should do is perhaps start to act en masse to ignore OR better yet if the general public started to turn on the Terrorist (whoever they are) then force of numbers would overwhelm them. For instance - IF Osama Bin Laden walked through the streets of Iraq would it not be better for the people to just jump him and beat him up? Rather then some foreign nation taking him into custody?
