Hard to say without knowing what kind of trouble and to what extent. Maybe post some more info.

If the trouble is financial and they're about to go under or might, there probably isn't much that you can do - and if that's the problem, you need to protect yourself and look for another job.
If it's some other type of trouble, you can help by keeping things confidential that should be and not contributing to spreading any rumors.
