Yes, I think that what you're saying is true. If a white woman says that she is a "strong white woman", we consider the "white" part to be superfluous. Why does she need to say "white"? The main reason for this is because whites are currently in the majority and anytime whites make a specific mention of their ethnicity it seems unnecessary. You don't hear woman saying "I'm a strong Asian woman" because, usually, in oriental cultures at least, people put a lot of emphasis on being polite and self-deprecating. It would be arrogant in that culture to make such a statement.

Well, first off, it's kind of a racist saying. It plays on the old stereotype of black people being more sexually uninhibited that other people. Like any stereotype there is a grain of truth in it (personal experience, yo!), but also like all stereotypes, it is mainly crap. There are very inhibited black people out there, and there are wild white people, Asians, latinas, and so on.
But as for your observation, look at the demographics. A little research will show that the male-female ratio of free, employed black men to black women is out of whack, due to high rates of incarceration of black men. Black women also have more earning power than black men, possibly because white people find them less threatening than black men and tend to hire them more readily. People like to date people who are like themselves economically and educationally, and the old fear of miscegenation (race-mixing) has gone away for the most part.
The reasons why black men suffer so much from an underfunded public school system, turn to crime more often than women, etc, are way too complex to get into here. Check out some novels written by black women; you'll find the "where are the good men?" lament is a big theme.
Me, I agree with Warren Beatty's character in "Bulworth" who said the solution to all of our racial problems is to eliminate white people. How to do it? Everybody should get busy bonking everybody else until we all look like cafe au lait.
cheers,
Z

that saying is from the black man's point of view and it is also from a white woman's obviously and the reason that you see a white male and black lady now is because they have never told you the flip side of that saying "one you go white nothing else is right" that applies to the black woman decision to date white.

It's just a saying that someone came up with. I'm pretty sure that the person that came up with it believes it to be true but it's not true for everyone.

Because variety is the spice of life! Seriously, because love transcends the color barrier. And it doesn't go just one way either. I'm married to a black woman. I love her with all my heart and soul, as I've never loved anyone else of any color. Love conquers all, you know?

It's a saying that rhymes...that's about it..true?...not at all...every race has beautiful, talented people so the same could be said of any race, however it rhymes in one race only.
