what was the children's march??

i know it has 2 do wit maritn luther king but i need more detail!

It was in Alabama I think and thousands of children protested. It was better for the children to protest because the parents had to work and stuff and couldn't afford to go to jail. The cops sprayed the children with fire hoses and stuff.
