They are okay. I have had the awesome blossom which was really good, but I was never too impressed with their steaks and the bill was always high. If you are going there for dinner and not just a quick get together with friends where you will split appetizers, I would try Carraba's or a local steak restaurant, you might have better luck.

If you're looking to try some real Aussie Cuisine than Outbacks is the furthest place from it!
No self respecting Aussie eats food with a knife and food bigger than their head. The only thing authentic about Outbacks are the road signs on the walls.
The Bloomin Onion is tasty but you won't find it on any menu down under.

It's generally very consistant steaks and food. I enjoy the beef tenderloin rice bowl, the ribeye steak, and the lamb chops. If you are not satisfied, they will make you happy by compensating you with an item or other promotion. They also have a lot of tap beers to wash down the chow with. Stick to meat, it's what they do best even though they offer fish, seafood, and chicken. Their salad dressings tend to be very spicy, the veggies are just ok, and the baked sweet potatoe is great. So is the hot pumpernickle bread that is brough to each table. Enjoy!

Outback's food was always a cut above...the first Outback I went to was in S. Florida in the late 80's and it was said it was the '1st' Outback...It was divine and so it still is...Good going Outback!....We had steaks, of course, and the onion loaf which is to die for

The bread is great! I usually get a small steak or the mahi mahi. The coconut shrimp appetizers are wonderful. The blooming onion is ok but a little bit spicy. The pork chops are also really great. I have NEVER had room for dessert.

I love Outback. I get the Victoria-cut filet with garlic-mashed potatoes. YUM. If you like Caesar salad, it ranks up there with the best I've ever had.

i had a chicken salad and it was very good. it had fried chicken strips egg tomato 3 cheeses cucumber croutons bacon BUT it had another little ingriedient in it that the wasnt in the description... almond slivers. i am severely allergic to them and didnt know what they were so i asked after eating half the salad when they came to refill our drinks and about 15 minutes later i was going to the hospital in respiratory distress bout to die. so if you have allergies ask what all is in their foods because they leave stuff out

They have an amazing chop salad with candied nuts in it. Sounds a bit weird, but trust me...it's the best before a giant steak!

Their kabobs are good; everything else I've had there is average. Their bread is a weird brown bread . . . some like it; some don't. TIP: Texas Roadhouse food is better overall with cooler atmosphere and about 30% cheaper.
