There has to be something more to life than gettting up everyday, going to work or school, coming home, going to bed, and then repeating the process

That almost sounds like depression, but I understand what you are saying. I think everyone feels that way at some point or another. It has been my experience that one's meaning in life comes from establishing goals that can help move them forward. If you have a goal, you actively think and behave in ways that help you achieve that goal. The process of reaching a goal can be very rewarding and educational, even if you have to take a detour from your original goal. People who have no goals and just sort of drift in life often feel like life is just meaningless repetition. The other thing is to choose your own goals and learn from your mistakes. Mistakes do not represent failure - they represent opportunities to learn. Some people believe that we keep repeating the same mistakes until we have learned from them.

I don't think anyone can answer that question. As time has gone by in my own life I've come to believe it is a learning process. This process can be accomplished and expedited by many ways, i.e. reading what great thinkers have said on the subject, much in the 60's and 70's came through music...Long and Winding Road. that leads back to the door. ect. I do believe however that in the final view it comes down to how you use your life to benefit others. I hope this helps. The fact that you are asking this question say's that you are on your on quest to find your own answer, have fun and stay positive. Try reading Life is a River.

I think it's in the process..it's living and learning. You live and you learn so many things, you go through life feeling happy, getting hurt, learning about yourself and accomplishing what makes you satisfied with what you did in your time living. The process we go through is the same, but what happens to each of us is different..

Life is beautiful..I don't know if this makes any sense to you but I think you will find out the answer sooner or later.

The point in life is to find and enjoy the perfect potato chip. The complexity of the chip is amazing. Think about the variations in shape, texture, saltiness, taste, feel....all of it.

Get out there and get started!

Okay,so the secret of life. Are you serious.... All we have to do is exactly what you are doing or do the opposite and make your life worse. If you feel that strong about the same old routine do the opposite.

The way i see it, everyone has a purpose in themselves due to their ancestors, and thus their genetics, hence some people are better at X thing than Y thing. This causes me to believe that everyone has a thing they are good at, no body's perfect and that's the reason. Other than doing your job people are to breed, thus creating diversity in the species.

Yes, there is. But your point to life isn't the same as my point to life. You will find your point to life in due time. Seek and you shall find..........not really, it's more like live and learn.

Why...you chose that...you make it sound like that's what life is.

YOU CHOOSE THAT!

There's nothing at all wrong with habits. The point of life is that there isn't one.
