I'll post a website for you to take a look at, called Etsy where people sell anything handmade. You can create your own shop and post any/all of your artwork. That way people can see your style and keep going back to your own store to view what's new. A friend of my daughter's is a jewelry artisan and has a shop on Etsy and is doing quite well. On the left hand side of the home page you'll find an art category, so check it out. Good luck.

If you have just started a company and do not want to use a lot of money you can go to http://www.itscustomized.com and rent an ecommerce website. They currently have a free 30 days trial offer. Everything is built from shopping cart to admin panel to allow you to upload your merchandise. The best part is you can rent this ecommerce website complete with paypal payment gateway for little money and no long term commitment either. You can cancel anytime you like. I have my own store and have been using them for almost a year now.

There are many online art galleries. Each one has their own styles of art they represent. It is also possible to create your own website for just your art. My professors have commented that most of them don't sell a lot of art, but things change.
The risks of selling online are that people who know how to steal your images can then sell them, flooding the market with them, and you realize nothing from it.
I do have a friend who does well with her website, so if it's what you want -do it!
