i have a college application due this friday (as of now it is wednesday night) and i realize i was completely stupid to not have gotten it out sooner, but i can't change the past so i'm gonna work with what i've got for now.

anyhow, my question is this: if my mother mails it tomorrow morning, is it possible for it to get to Massachusetts (about 4 hrs away) by Friday afternoon? i don't care what the cost is; there's a potential $60,000 total scholarship paired to this app, so paying a bit for fast mailing will not be a concern.

anyhow, i was just wondering. i've asked a few people; some have said yes, others have said no. it would be a standard orange paper file thingie...umm...i don't know how else to describe it (you know, those ones that fold shut...nothing special) and i do hope that it will mail FAST.

thank you! your responses are appreciated! =]

Apparently, Hotmail had already been rebranded to Windows Live Hotmail earlier this month, NOT Windows Live Mail. Windows Live got Hotmail from MSN. However, it does not mean everybody can not use the classic interface of Hotmail. You could just click on options and change the preferences. Look on the brightside: Windows Live Mail is still better. First of all, Windows Live Hotmail has a storage of 5 gigabytes and made to be faster. It even integrates to most Windows Live services now: Windows Live Messenger, Spaces, Calendar and Contacts! That's not bad. Unlike the old-ish Hotmail, there's spell check and security. Like I said, you can use the classic interface but you know how it would end up: it'll be permanent. It's the future.

Yes, it will get there. If you send it overnight via FED-EX or UPS, they guarantee it and a overnight saver service isn't too painful. You could also get a courier service but that would be a huge expense. Good luck.
