i own a repair shop, and if you could find a good used one for it that's low miles, you could probably get the engine and get it installed for around a thousand bucks, and if you have a pretty nice car that might be something to consider, good luck,i hope this help,s.

2400-2900 depending on what motor it is, just the motor
12 hours labor

and if it was a SHO they would have already said that

cubcowboysgirl... did you check to see that those engines are the same list price? you don't need to be that specific on here, its not like YOU are going to order it.

8-207 (3.4L, VIN N), (SHO)
6-183 (3.0L), OHV (Vulcan), gasoline (VIN U or 4), from 7/13/98
6-183 (3.0L), OHV (Vulcan), gasoline (VIN U or 4), thru 7/12/98
6-183 (3.0L), OHV (Vulcan), flex fuel (VIN 1 or 2)
6-183 (3.0L), DOHC (VIN S, Duratec)

which one?

the ballpark for labor is twelve hours, at sixty five to ninety dollars an hour plus eight hundred or so for the motor shipped to you???????
