First of all, 9/11 had NOTHING to do with Iraq. I see many conservatives continually making a coorelation between the two. The terrorists we are fighting will attack the American army when not preoccupied with sectarian violence, but, the military has NEVER had to break up a group of terrorists in Iraq or Afghanistan who were planning on attacking our homeland.
Al Qaeda in Iraq now are all just extended branches of the organization, which did not actually participate in the 9/11 attack against the USA, so don't give me crap about the need to fight Al Qaeda either.
No one is planning another attack against America, so get that out of your heads that somehow they are. OK?

This is almost incoherent. Are you asking why we think it's a good idea to fight those who want to kill us? I've grown rather fond of living, but maybe that's just me.
Which conservatives have been claiming that Saddam was directly involved in 9/11. Mostly I just see references to this from liberals denying it. Why expend so much energy attacking an argument that isn't being made?
You also seem to have a problem with our operations in Afghanistan. I seem to recall that al Qaida was headquartered there.
We don't know if any terror cells were stopped in either country. Some operations need to remain classified for national security reasons.

May be some of you Americans better open your eyes and attribute that everything that is happening is as a result of the criminal doings of the CIA in thepast.
No 1. CIA involvement in 1953 in Iran to put the lovely Shah of Iran as a dictator over his peope for 27 years. Iran by the way had a peaceful Democracy at that time until the American CIA got the notion to put the Shah into power as they could control him.
As well don't you think just about thirty years of living under a ruthless leader like the Shah of Iran instilled hatred towards the Americans.
2. The CIA and helping put Saddam Hussein into power during the 1960's. Then in the 1980's the good old Reagan Government selling weapons to Saddam Hussein to fight the Iranians for eight years.
3. If you do not see the hatred that the American Government and the CIA have created with terrorism toewards the United Stated then most of you are living in Lah Lah Land. Get out of their part of the world as the United States has no business being there in the first place other than Corporate America and the Big Oil Companies greed for their oil
4. By the way that is not the only part of the world that the American Government and the CIA have stuck their noses in to. You can thank the CIA for helping the American Government to be hated by a good part of the world. As the old saying goes "We all make our own mess and then we have to live with it"

Did he seriously say nobody is planning to attack the US?
I would dare to imagine thousands are PLANNING on doing it, but how many can execute? Not many thanks to our Armed Forces keeping the war off of our land and over there.
It's like why do we have the new F-22 when there's almost no air threat at this time? Because we need to MAINTAIN air superiority. Right? If we let our guard down someone else will reign in the skies. Same goes with the ground... We need to MAINTAIN a strong standing force and sometimes show of power to let everyone know that we're not a push-over.
Now do I agree with Iraq? Well I think more options could be looked at, but I don't get paid to think of the ways, Generals do. But I would agree a new STRATEGY (whether its put more troops in or pull 'em out, I dont know) needs to be implemented.

You really can't be serious.
Are you that blind that you can't see what is going on in this world?
You don't have to be a right-winger to see that insurgents/terrorists/radical Islamists are harboring such a hatred for America and all of Western society that we are not safe anywhere in the world.
I hope the rest of America doesn't let down it's guard and ignore the writing on the wall as you have.
I would ask you the question...why are you defending Al Qaeda and all those who follow it's ideology?

Because Republicans are typical of what happens in every society. Scare tactics enable a government to control its population, and Bush is a pro at it.
Let me give you something to chew on:
1. Have you actually read the Constitution...ever?
2. Are you even aware that The Constitution is actually law, and not just principles or suggestions?
3. Do you believe Congress and the House are our representatives?
4. Are you aware that there is almost no link to terrorism in America or our allies originating from Iraq? (At least, not before our invasion?)
5. Would you prefer your rights over security?
6. Do you believe the founding fathers believed in the soverignty of foreign nations as well as our own?
7. Do you think a "war on terror" means the combatants are war prisoners? (Remember, we kinda made up new labels as we went)
8. Are you aware the President took an oath to "preserve and protect the Constitution"?
9. Do you know without looking what Habeus Corpus is?
10. Do you think anyone, including Bush and his cronies, is allowed to circumvent Habeus Corpus in this case? (Hint: Gonzalez says yes in front of Congress, Constitution says a clear no.)
11. Are you aware that no democracy has ever been successfully forced on the people by an invading force and remained when the force left?
12. Do you think we are just lumping everyone in Iraq that doesn't want us there into a group called "insurgents" because we honestly have no idea who is fighting for what?
If you answered no to any of these, I would almost guarantee you are Republican. I love my country, and I love the sacrifice our soldiers make daily for our freedoms, including my family members. But should we really allow our government to strip those very rights and freedoms at home that soldiers are told they are dying to preserve?
I thank our soldiers for their sacrifice, and I curse our gutless, bloated leaders for misleading them. America is not what Bush says we are on TV. It is what the Constitution says we are, and has been for well over 200 years. He doesnt get to change that, I don't give a.....who's party he's in.
Want to be a "Great American?" How about standing up for our Constitution. I doubt any Republicans have the guts for that. Its not in style.
Now, you can go back to being spoon fed your dose of fear. My rant is over.

Yes, they hate us for our freedom. Which is why Bush has been eliminating our freedoms - to please the terrorists. What the???
The terrorists are not people who wake up deciding to kill Americans. Terrorism is a tactic used by people who lack the military power to defeat people they perceive as oppressing them. Or a tactic used by nations when it suits them.
Bush, himself, repeatedly implied we were fighting in Iraq because of 9/11. Search yahoo answers and you'll still see conservatives give it as the reason for the iraq war.
If we leave Iraq, the killing of Americans there stops. Period. They are not going to chase us home and kill us here. We are an occupying force and they are doing what we would do under the circumstances. We don't belong there, we're not wanted, we're not helping.

Take your blinkers off.
Some of what you have said is right, other stuff is "bull dust"
and the rest is your imagination
What you really need to do is to look at each of your argument and distinguish where you should have started each paragraph.
