I'm only 15, but in my experience in growing up in Canarsie, Brooklyn for 9 years, and even on Long Island where i live now, i've been noticing how racist, prejudist, and hurtful people can really be. I can't count how many times i've been called a ginny, cracka, whitey, and all i've done was respect everyone a treat everyone the same like my dad taught me. I have only 2 prejudices: Muslums who strap bombs to themselves to kill other people, and filthy rich people who don't use their money for anything useful (i.e. Paris Hilton, Nichole Richie; the 2 biggest God-damned bomboes i've ever seen.) Now there's nothing wrong with havin money, just at least do SOMETHING good with it. Sponsor rebuilding schools, retirement homes, neighborhoods, feed a starving family in Africa... SOMETHING!!!
.......Keep the peace baby!!.......

I'm with you all the way on that. I personally think also that in this day and age people are still way to sensitive about the issue though. These problems have been around for centuries and although today's minorities and majorities might not wanna believe it, it hasn't always been about black and white or brown. You're doing your part by being the good person you were brought up to be. You're blessed cuz some people don't get proper upbringings and are still good people. I've gotten crap about marrying a white woman. When my wife has an opinion about something attached to stereotype she gets crap on it just cuz she's white. It's everywhere...skinny vs. eating, rich vs poor, smart vs lucky, talent vs popularity. The point is to find your niche in it and either accept it, let it corrupt you or find the grey area.

I don't judge anyone, I love all people until they give me a reason mot to. I have a multi-cultural background and my daughter is mostly white, so I'm not racist. I have no real prejudices against anyone except that I think all drug addicts steal, and all old people are weird. I have an open mind to everyone (even drug addicts and old people) cause there is so much to learn form other people. I think we were all put on this earth to learn something from one another that is why we are social creatures. Prejudice is just an excuse to stay ignorant.

I am only 14, but I am old enough to know that racism is wrong. I wouldn't taunt someone about their race or ethnicity....why can't we all be pacifists? A lot of people have accused me of being a racist because I go to a school with only a couple black students.
I can tell you now that this is not the case.
I did see your comment about suicide bombing Muslims. This a prejudice too...think of all the Muslims who are NOT extremists or terrorists. They would be outraged at the image they are being passed off as. No wonder there is so much violence in the Middle East.

The Labatt family just donated 30 million to a hospital today to build some kind of cancer research center .
The Hilton family would be great to follow suit instead of Paris running amok and showing her skanky bush to the papparazzi with L. Lohan and doing something meaniingful for people.

I actually not too much against prejudist on the lower scales. For example I can't stand stupid people, or really cocky people. But as far as things people can't control like race, disabilities, believes and such then im totally against it. I think it sucks that you have to deal with something like that. People, unlike your father, are raising their kids to do these things. People aren't born racist they are taught it. And in my eyes it seems really weak of them to have no other way of communicating or entertaining themselves than to hurt others. I sorry you have to grow up like that but you should keep being the strong and smart one the situation and not adding to the problem..
On another note, you sholdn't have singled out "muslims" in your question. I get what you were trying to say but it made you sound racist.. The sentence makes it sound like it "Asians" were the ones who strap bombs to themselves to kill other you wouldn't dislike them. Again, I get what your saying but others might not.

I am 14, and I can say that people who are "racist again racist" fall into the category themselves.
Hating someone may be wrong in some people's eyes, but, the 1st Amendment is a beautiful thing!

I don't think I'm racist. I try desperately to treat everyone the same. I live in Miami though so it gets a little difficult here.
Don't let stupid people change you. Just keep living your life and treating people decently.
