OK, so the last movie I just saw recently and where I cried was The Notebook, at the moment when you see the book's front page and actually the wrote to her husband before she completely lost her mind that he had to read to her again and again for her to come back.
BUT, then the movie goes on...and it is pushed over the top with them liying together. That absolutely did not do it for me. I stopped crying right there and then. It kind of frustrated me. Too much...

I think the last movie that actually made me cry (not counting just getting all misty-eyed) was Love Actually or Moulin Rouge. In Love Actually, the scene when Emma Thompson's character finds out about her husband's affair and goes into the other room and just breaks down crying is so heartbreaking. And the scene where Mark professes his love of Juliet posing as a Christmas caroler and using cue cards was so sweet it made me cry...so I cried a lot during this movie, okay? ;o) And in Moulin Rouge, I think the image of Christian howling over Satine's dead body actually causes me to die a bit inside every time I watch it. LoL

I have never been a big cry-er at films, but there have been two in the history of my life that have made me. The first was Apollo 13, when they start their reentry and the clock is ticking away and it cuts to the son sitting at school, and the time for a successful reentry passes, lord my eyes well up and my nose runs. Especially when they make contact, I just can't stop! The other one is the doc. Murderball, not when they lose at the Olympics, but when they are state-side on the bus to The Walter Reed Hospital, and they are showing all the guys on the team, and doing voice overs of their accidents..OMG..."sniff sniff"

My first and last crying of the movies....Steel Magnolias at the funeral.

I almost cried when I saw a clip from Passion of the Christ (it was set to "How deep the Father's Love for Us"). I haven't seen it yet, but what I saw made tears well up.

The last movie I cried in was Hilary Duff's Raise Your Voice... because her brother died. That hit me real hard.

Funny thing was before I watched that movie, I watched Titanic, and cried at the very end, not when Jack died, but when they were reunited.
