No, he is not the right manager. The current England team is the strongest England team in these few decades. but it is a pity that the team cannot win the World Cup nor the European Cup because it lacks a good manager like Scaloni, Lippi, Benitez and Mourinho.

Is it a coincedence that the minute Paul Scholes retires from the international game the English team goes to hell?

Maybe, or maybe not.

Paul Scholes and Stevey G in the center of the park wouldn't be that bad an option. It would probably be LOADS better then what England has none.

Hell, Carrick-Scholes would be really good as well.

But, knowing that Macca is simply a younger, English version of Sven, he would probably be stupid enough to keep Lampard in the middle and force Scholes out on the left again.

The first manager that understands the most famous players aren't the ones that deserve to be on the pitch (most importantly Lampard), he well be good for England. Macca got half way there with getting rid of Beckham, when Hargreaves comes back, putting him and Gerrard in the middle would be the next step.

Come on Stevey, Crouch is a good option off the bench, isn't a starting striker. Lampard needs to be on the bench and you need to trust a young, youthful player in Aaron Lennon.

Dafoe Rooney
J. Cole Gerrard Hargreaves Lennon
A. Cole Terry Ferdinand Neville

And you have a number of good options off the bench.

I dont think so. When Ferguson retires, offer him the England job immediately. England needs a manager with top flight experiance and someone who knows how to handle overpaid 'superstars'. The England team needs a reshuffle badly.

Macca says alot but doesnt deliver. He cant make hard decisions. The Beckham decision was easy, as that was what the public wanted. He just follows what people say.
His tactics are awful, he said he will try the 3-4-3 formation against macedonia, but he didnt instead he tried it against Croatia (who havnt lost at home in years). thats just idiotic.

Apparently he is not. A friendly is for experimenting and he's got BOTH Neville's and Fat Frank starting. We needed to see more of Micah Richards, Downing, Barton, and Barry in my opinion. I did like the way that he had the lads presuring the defenders when the defenders were on the ball at the back.
