I belong in the late sixties, but at the age of 18-not the age I was then (4 1/2-9 1/2). It was the time of "Boss Radio"-AM with top 30 playlists in SoCal. It was the time of the Monterey International Pop Festival in '67 and Woodstock in '69, the Doors and the Byrds.( of course, I'd be in college with a student deferment so I wouldn't be screwed by the Vietnam war draft) It was the time of Pirate Radio just off the coast of England-ships with illegal radio rigs broadcasting the Who and the Beatles and the Rolling Stones and beyond...beyond the reach of the law and in International waters, that is!
