I was an A student and went to community college before I decided to stop burying myself financially. I make almost $70,000 a year now as a plumber. Sure it can be physical etc., but I'm my own supervisor and have no student loans. I'm surrounded by stupid people and I can never keep up with work. So it confuses me when I see people suffering for 4 +years to make half of what I do.

very much agree with you. I am a landscaper and make good money. I am my own boss. and I frankly dont see these people graduating from college as very smart either. I mainly see them as brainwashed robots. And they also are very big on themselves because they are "more educated " than people who dont go to college. I went to college at first and liked the idea of learning , but found that the whole thing was more about scoring points, (kind of like here on Yahoo Answers) than substance. Plus I would hate to have to work around many of those kind of people , especially having one for my boss!

p.s. you can learn much more on your own anyway. May not "score points ", but I feel myself more knowledgeable than most college grads I know.

Well, my goal salary is about $150,000 a year and I can't get that without a college degree.

Plus, college gives me the opprotunity to learn more and get more education. Which is what I want.

I don't want to do trade school.

And scholarships. I've got scholarships to pay for my college. No student loans for me.

Most "smart" people want to continue learning & college seems to be the way to do it anymore. Plus there is hardly any way to get a higher paying job without a college degree.

nicely now that suited there is the concern. you're putting labels on the folk. In a nicely functioning courting each guy or woman might desire to bee considered as an equivalent interior the others eyes. If the "clever guy or woman" is making it difficulty-free to the "hassle-free guy or woman" that he/she is smarter then that reasons the "hassle-free" guy or woman to hold lower back, and sense intimidated and not worth something. in addition they are going to sense that the "clever" guy or woman will look down on them for what they're somewhat feeling in the event that they did chosen to particular their emotions and talk. i think of the "clever" guy or woman needs to benefit some humility and comprehend that he/she won't be so clever in the event that they think of the different guy or woman isn't in basic terms as clever.
