Yes, and you should wait for someone else to promote it. I think it is in bad form, for one to promote their question, before others. There is virtue in waiting for others to post on your all important question. Let me remind you, just because it it important to you, does not in fact mean that it is important to the masses. Do give them an opportunity to cast their vote.
