Are you from/familiar with Campbell County? Claryville is rarely considered a city -- it has no post office nor zip code of it's own. The mailing address is Alexandria, KY 41001. It is mainly a rural area with very little business. Campbell County High School and Claryville Inn (a tavern) are located in Claryville. Currently there is construction for the widening of US 27/Alexandria Pike going through Claryville.

As far as history you might want to check the Campbell County Historical Society. Here's a link: http://www.rootsweb.com/~kycchgs/ If you are local -- the Newport Branch of the Campbell County Library has a "Kentucky Room" with loads of information you might also be able to find something there.

Good Luck!
