I have a lot of new friends. I'm keeping away a secret but that secret is history for me. I feel like if I tell my secret to all my new friends, they will not like me. But If my new friends don't find out my secret, they will continue to like me.
This secret is inside me, it's killing me that I don't share with anyone unless but my mom is the only one that knows it.

do not be afriad to tell your friends. that is what they are supposed to be there for. that secret is a part of you and friends are supposed to accept you for who you are and if they don't like you once you tell them your secret they are not really accepting you for who you are and are not really your friends. if this happens, you need to move on and find someone who will accept you for who you are. you do not deserve to be judged. hopefully your friends will be ok with this but if not then don't worry about it because you are better off without them if this is how they see the true you. hope this helps. good luck.

see you should tell them no matter how horrible or secret it is! If there your true friends then they will help you with the secret (if help is needed) they willl comfort you and be there with you the whole way if you tell them and they dont like you any more b/c o fit then there not worth it! find other friends ones who dont care what secrets you have! Tell them if it doesnt work out find new friends b/c there not the true friends! Hope your friend/secret thing works out!

Actually I have a secret too.. I don't know anyone on here, so I'm comfortable talking about it. I'm bringing it up just to make a point--when I was 5 years old, my mom was murdered by another member of my family. I don't know why it happened (I was so young) but it did.. in elementary school I had a hard time because the parents of the kids i tried to be-friend knew of the incident and didnt want their children around me. that left a negative impact on me.. but as i grew up, i realized that people are gonna like me for me, regardless of my past. if im close enough to someone, i tell them about it. if they are really my friend, they are gonna still be my friend after knowing. if they quit talking to me, they werent real friends to begin with.
it sucks doing it, but i guess it's one way of finding out who you can trust and who your real friends are! Good Luck!

It's not that I really want to know you're dirty secret real bad, but the best way to let it out is like in a diary or something. I usually end up saying it tp Yahoo! Answers, and people pity me, but at least it's out of my system. Why don't you try that, change your Yahoo! Answers name and blurt it out, or write it down in a diary or something. You can tell your secret, but it doesn't have to be to your new friends.

gurl da past is da past ders no way back even if u wnted 2 but if u want to tell dem ur secret den go ahead. but one thing 4 sure if dey rject u 4 ur secret den they are not da friends u should count on. wel after all its really up 2 u bt if dey r ur gurls 4 real den there shouldnt be a prob. wel good luck=)!!

who knows they might all still accept you after you tell them your secret and who knows they might not that is a chance you are going to have to take. I had something similar and it worked out for me in a good way

I'd keep it your secret just between you and your mom. New friends are more likely to jump ship and are not yet 100% trustworthy because you don't know them enough.

hun..you dont have to tell anyone ****.. first off u just meet them soo they arent ur damn therapist where they need to know everything, if it comes up in a conversation then you should feel comfortable enough to let 1 of them know if they really are ur friends...and if they r they wont care, if they do ****'em u can find new ones just how u found them
