In school, my group is going to act out the signing of the Declaration of Independence. We are supposed to write a script about which people are going to get which parts. For example:

(Me) Thomas Jefferson: blah blah blah

(My friend) John Hancock: bla bla bla bla

Anyone has any idea of how should write the script be written.

This will be hard, because the "voice" of the Declaration of Independence is entirely that of Jefferson. The other delegates may have amended it and toned down any part about slavery, but there is no other person's "voice" in it. You would have to do a lot more research and have John Hancock and other persons add their voices to the one "voice" that speaks in the declaration.

Jefferson was very soft spoken but an eloquent speaker. Adams very boisterous but well spoken. Hancock was the richest of the delegates.
