ive heard that a celeron D is pitfull when it comes to gaming but i was wondering if it can run games like half life 2, doom3, company of heros, total war 2, and oblivion with 1GB ram and a 6800GT

Almost any processor running at 3.2 GHz respectivly can run those games, you just might not see peak FPS like with other processors. And 1 gig of RAM and that card you should be fine.

sure can........the only problem u may have is things might move in slow motion or frame by frame.......thats an easy fix tho..go into the game options and turn off some of the advanced graphics such as shadowing, mess w/ the resolution .......if ur card has 256 Mb compared to 128 it should run fine.......id try to run it as is first and take away little by little untill u run smooth........doom 3 kicks azz!

Yes, it will run those games just fine. Sure, you won;t be able to crank the graphics up to maximum, but they'll work!

they'll run, but don't try to max out all the settings.
