I'm not sure I understand the question. It may be a redneck joke. Do you mean you need help getting the inlaws through the doorframe itself because they are wide from side to side, or does it mean that your door is warped and sticks a bit? Either way, I would think Vaseline might work a little better and not leave unsightly stains on clothes.
