that is just something anyone with any respect for the parent wouldn't do, seems she is not interested in getting along, just in doing anything that causes distress for the mom. that woman has no right to cut your daughters hair, without first asking u. don't go after her in a physical way or her and your ex will be laughing at u when they cuff u and take u to jail, u have to handle it differently, maybe through the court system,. maybe if u don't allow her to go on the visitation for awhile she will rethink what she has done. it is clearly being done to piss u off and get u to react. has your ex said nothing to this woman at all? this is not her kid, she has clearly over stepped her boundaries, and made an enemy in u, her true intentions.

Hell yes!! Do it, just rip her head right off her freakin shoulders lol. Unfortunately no-don't go and do that. But I definately know how you feel. Have you talked your ex about this? He probably doesn't give a **** what you have to say huh? This new girlfriend should respect what you say to her and not cut YOUR daughters hair anymore. I don't know what to tell to do though. These situations suck. How old is your daughter? Next time she tries to cut your daughters hair tell your daughter she needs to say no and to get her daddy. Then she should just tell her dad that she doesn't want her haircut. Daddy should care and tell his girlfriend not to cut it. I don't advoacte putting kids in the middle of things though so it really depends on how old your daughter is.

Oh, if only it were the right thing. I understand, and sympathize, and I wish I could help you.
I think getting in the face of the person and speaking calmly and clearly will go a long way. Sometimes, a little aggression is necessary. Something like, "get your own kid" or "let me cut your dog's hair. "
My husband nearly threatened his own mother with bodily harm, last time she cut our daughter's hair. That was three years ago, she's still very hurt by it...tehe.

I don't think you should go that far but I do think you need to talk with your ex about this. How old are your daughters? Are they too young to say "no" to the girlfriend? Hard to give advice with so little info. Do you have custody? What are the terms of his visitation? Can you stop him from visiting with his girlfriend present?

Does your daughter agree to have her hair cut? Does she protest, cry, argue about getting her hair cut?

I don't know the story, but maybe your daughter likes to try new hairstyles? You may want to talk to your daughter first, before you start getting mad at the girlfriend.

Changing the appearance of the children is a mutual decision only. If both parties do not agree, then nothing is done. If one makes a unilateral decision you can hold the child from further contact till counseling is scheduled and attended.

Instinctively I want to tell you to go ahead and smack her down next time you see her, but thats not a good idea if you still want custody of your kids. She is an absolute jerk and you should talk to your ex husband about making sure she respects your wishes.

Rip her and him a new one! You never put your hands on someone else's kids even if you're granted permission by one of the parents. But seriously, if you gotta be the b___ to get your point across, file a police report, I won't be mad at ya.

Why not..if she feels she has the right to cut on your daughters hair then why is it not your right to cut into her @ss. Someone needs to let her know that if she wants to practice to go buy a barbie!

Yeas you are!! Number one- this isn't even their stepmother yet? You need to set her straight ASAP, or the problems will be never ending. Number two- your ex is wrong for not having set her straight already, have a talk with him as well!!!!!
