I need some legal information?

I am 17 band dont know where my dad is. My mom does drugs and can be abusive at times. She sometimes doesnt come back to her boyfriends house at night and doesnt even call me. We dont have a place of our own and she lost almost all of our possesions. I have a friend who wants me to get out of this and go to school. How much trouble can I get in without consent? Its pretty much child neglect and I will be much beter off.

I ran away at 16 and let me tell you it can be worse
out-there than where you are at now,I was forced into
something that you will never want and I thank god I
am here to advice you...Talk to your school counselor.
I lost my best friend to drugs and death out there in
those mean streets..Are you getting ready to graduate
go to armed forces recruiters it will be hard but
your future will be set and you will learn discipline
and they will advise you on what the Armed forces are
about and the schooling they offer and all the perks..
They will help you with housing and so forth.Student loans
and college housing Honey talk to your school counselor please do not run with out a plan...or a goal..

At the age of 17 you can leave home and not be charged as a runaway. Also, the police cannot make you go back even if your mom calls them. Hon, you need to go to school and show the world that you are not another statistic. I endured the same growing up and I went on to law school. I proved that you can grow up in a dysfunctional home and come out okay. I wish you the best of luck. Please look out for youself.
