It's normal, it's called a food aversion and you're fine. Just like cravings, you also have food aversions. I went from being a major meat eater to being a complete vegetarian. Even after I had my kids I've never gone back to my old eating habits.
Eat what sounds good to you now and forget about what you used to eat. It's okay, just be sure you are getting protein from some source, I could drink Ensure nutrition drinks without a problem - they're pretty good!

No, you are just having an aversion towards meat. I am a vegetarian, have been as long as I can remember, I hate meat, the taste, the look etc. The only reason I tell you that is because I am 24 weeks and 3 days pregnant and I never eat meat. My baby is fine, I am healthy and my iron levels and everything else is fine shape. If you do not want meat, do not eat it. Supplement your protein with beans, soy milk, energy bars, eggs, etc. You will be fine. If it bothers you a lot just mention it to your doc when you see him/her. Good luck to you!! :)

I wouldn't worry- I am having the opposite problem, I NEVER ate red meat before and now I want nothing but meat!!! I think it's just a craving thing, this is my second pregnancy and the first time I hated meat the whole time, which is normal for me. There are plenty of places to get protein and as long as you are eating healthy you should be fine, if not better, LOL!!!

I have a hard time wanting to eat at all! Food just grosses me out, and I'm about 13 or 14 weeks along. Do you still get nauseated? That may be part of the problem. Just make sure you are taking your prenatal vitamins. An aversion to meat is normal, from what I've heard. Your aversion may pass after a month or two.

It's not serious, and it will probably pass. When I was expecting my first, the smell of cooking meat made me so ill I would nearly faint.
Just make sure you take your prenatal vitamins, and have a good balanced diet with other protein sources until you get over your aversion to meat.
Congratulations on the new little bundle!

You and the baby will be just fine. When I was pregnant with my daughter I couldn't stand to eat or even smell hamburger without getting sick to my stomach. It's one of the many joys of being pregnant. LOL.
