There are probably a lot of people who like snakes...that you do also is great. You have no phobia and therefore you don't have a problem with them. I am not quite as fortunate...while I was growing up there was no one who displayed this phobia around me but by adult hood I was pretty well petrified ...can't even touch a book that has a photo of one and if I come across a photo? The book flies as far across the room from me as possible, irregardless of who or what in front of me, it will hit :) I almost slammed a little old man down to the ground when I took off from a pine grove while collecting pine cones for fire starters and a snake (baby at that) slithered towards my feet. At an exhibition, while walking towards some displays of some sort, a tent filled with them plus two huge pythons, one an albino, were stretched out about 15-20 feet long on the ground...I was walking backwards talking to my kids and they all suddenly yelled Mom watch out...really more to make sure I didn't step on one of the snakes and hurt THEM..than to warn me cause I'd freak beyond belief :) Well I freaked anyway and probably faster than Superman, streaked to the other end of the grounds and wouldn't come back. Didn't matter they all gathered round, petting the huge fellows telling me they weren't slimy or mean...come feel, don't be a chicken!! Tough cookie...grew feathers and clucked away to a safer area. Ah ya, sounds stupid now but then? Heart attack at a young age was in order.

Most people think I am crazy because i had a rattlesnake for 3 years.We caught him in south Texas when he was about 6" long.We raised him until he was 5' long/I mainly took care of him.Everybody else was scared of him.It was tricky feeding him and cleaning his cage when he got older but I had a system.We had to let a friend keep him for awhile because the place we stayed wouldn't allow it/
. The "so-called" friend chopped his head off.I was so pissed.I have a Ball Python now.He's a year old.Most people are afraid of him .So silly.He's still young and harmless.So, I guess you can say you have someone on your side.I love snakes too!!

I'm crazy about snakes too! You have no idea. I seriously want to own a snake house one day or have one room in my house for snakes when I grow up. Or at least work at a reptile house at a zoo.

So do I! I was always fascinated by them ever since I was a kid. It's no wonder ancient man considered them magical. How else could something with no legs run so damned fast? They're truely amazing creatures, and very misunderstood. Most of 'em are harmless. But as with anything else, it's the bad ones that get all the press!

I had, once, a snake in my bedroom. It was one of my friends' pet and I had to take care of it for one week. I used to let it crawl around and its favorite place was on my desk. They don't scare me at all. People are scared or not scared according to their own obsessions/beliefs/bad experiences etc. Nobody's crazy from this point of view.

I don't like snakes at all, but that doesn't mean that your crazy for liking them. Just be careful and learn about them before you go touching them, lol.

no, your not crazy. I hate to touch snakes but i love to look at them. i think they are amzing animals and people dont call me crazy, but maybe thats because i hate to tough them. But i dont think your crazy. My best friend is crazy about snakes and she is just a normal girl.

nope... not crazy... i once say this show and they were in liek africa or something and they had thousands of snakes in their house like poisonious ones too and they had a ton of kids in them and it had the people showing them all there bites and then the little toddlers slept in a snake pit... like no joke.

I like snakes too.....Its not like Im gonna hold a poisonous one though! I like boas, but not the feather ones!! Lmao
