well I kinda want a specific group, like the irish left because of .........(a famine, presicution of religion....)

Irish (primary producers - potato blight), Italians (primary producers - lack of opportunity), Germans (primary producers - religious persecution), English (pilgrims, prisoners, businesspeople).

all types of Europeans came here to the US to get religious and other freedom, opportunity etc.

one big reason: for a long time there was free land in the US all you had to do was claim it and use it, but in Europe all the land was claimed

most of the countries in Europe had government religions and if you didn't follow that religion they made life miserable for you

same reason as everyone else....to seek a better life and some other to escape prosecution...
