Does anyone have a preference? I'm a first time mum to be. I have the strongest feeling I'm having a boy (I'm only 7 weeks) I had a dream last night that bubs was a boy. I'd love a girl too. Just curious if anyone really wants one or the other. Or if everyone says the standard "don't mind as long as it's healthy". Thanks in advance!

Well, with my daughter I looked in the mirror around 8 weeks and it hit me, "OH, IT'S A GIRL" and it was. I wanted a boy.. I don't know why.. but it doesn't really matter. This time I didn't really care which I had, I had pros and cons with each. At 13 weeks I looked in the mirror and it happened again 'OH, IT'S A BOY'. I had the ultrasound and they said without a doubt, it's a boy

With my first baby, in the beginning I just wanted a healthy baby, and then when I was about 20 weeks pregnant - I wanted a healthy baby girl... We did not find out the sex of the baby, and by the time I gave birth I was convinced I was going to have a boy... She was a GIRL!!!! Hooray! Healthy and a little girl, I could not be happier. Now I am 13 weeks pregnant with number two, and again we are not going to find out the sex, and again I definitely want another girl!!! No doubt about it!!! Of course, if it is a boy my husband will be thrilled and I will be happy too.

I really wanted a girl, so I was disappointed when I found out I was having a boy. But now that I'm 9 months pregnant, I realize that it never mattered what the sex of the baby would have been, because I am going to love him unconditionally anyway. I'm glad I got a boy though. If I have a girl the second time around, she'll have her big brother there to protect her from nasty little perverts!!! lol

I told myself it wouldn't matter but I secretly wanted a girl because I've been around more little girls than boys. Well, it turned out to be a boy, and I began dreaming about him when I was about 12 weeks along. My fiancee also kept dreaming about a boy, but then again, that's what he wanted! We're very happy about our little man now, and I'm not so worried about raising a boy since I know I'll have plenty of family around to help me.

I am 37 weeks and i think that everyone only wants a healthy baby but given a preference i wanted a boy and so far that is what the ultrasounds tell me i am having.

I assume all of the ultrasounds have been correct so now my only wish is that he is healthy.

Baby #1.. didn't matter.
Baby #2.. wanted a boy.. got it
Baby #3.. wanted a girl.. pink frilly stuff.. got it
Baby #4.. wanted a boy again... getting a girl..

Healthy was ALWAYS above preference. But that is the way is has went for me.

I want a boy because I already have a girl. Too late though since my ultrasound said I'm having a girl! (I'm 8 months)

Welllllllll I won't be too disappointed either way, but I want a little girl. My boyfriend wants a boy. So we'll see. Either of us would love whichever it turns out to be, though.
