I'm sure we aren't the only people they hate. Small-minded people like that are usually "equal opportunity offenders." They'd just go harass someone else whenever they are pulling wings off flies or torturing puppies.

People who are homophobic, are also very often racist, anti-feminist, or just ignorant people to begin with, so they have a broad spectrum of people to hate... lovely isn't it?
There's a difference between homophobia and not agreeing with a homosexual lifestyle. The term is a perfect fit for the people it
refers to. They express outwardly a disgust and a hatred for the practitioners and often try to stop the action. Whereas a person who just disagrees will keep to themselves about their opinion and allow others to live their lives the way that is best fit for them.
Unfortunately there is always someone for someone bigger to get down on, and sadly this happens in almost every area where there are two or more sides.

look at alot of LGBT community on this they are just like homophobes there heterohobes and answering your question homophobes would just not persecute anyone just beacause they think being gay is wrong doesnt mean they have a problem with anyone else

They might have to actually get out in the world and meet real people. Of course, the source of their security is their anonymity.
Without it they are like any other coward in the world.

For everyone's information, the word homophobe is used correctly. It means you are afraid of your own sexuality. People who hate gay people are afraid of the fact that they might be gay themselves and many are. There is no rational reason to be against gay people.

find some other minority to pick on. probably move of to polyamorous folks or some miniscule ethnic minority. or perhaps just go back to picking on mexicans and black people. oh, and women.
