really! It's hypocritical!

C is for COOKIE, not CUCUMBER! jeez.

If you want someone to blame for kids being fat, blame the parents! They're the ones giving the kids junk food! Or you can blame the kids for eating so much.

yea, sadly, the cookie monster is now the veggie monster. people have said that the cookie monster promotes bad eating habits in children. and due to the fact that the childhood obesity rate is at an all time high, they are trying to promote a healthier eating style for young kids right from the start.

i find this to be very tragic! i loved the cookie monster and i dont remember ever wanting to eat nothing but cookies so i could be like him, i dont want to be a blue fuzzy monster. he just isnt the same anymore.

The people of America have lost there minds. Granted kids eat too much junk food but some feel that because of the cookie monster he's behind childhood obesity ( I know they need to get a grip).
Realistically its the parents to blame for buying the cookies and junk food not the freaking cookie monster. its sad truly sad.

Aww, that's is one of the saddest things yet. Parents should be the one talking about veggies!! If children are fat, its the parents' fault! Honestly, who wants a Cookie Monster to be singing about veggies?! C = COOKIE!!! He's so awesome!

Ok, I'm scared. Probably to be "politically correct" and God forbid a child should like cookies, its all to influence young children to eat a carrot stick, when we all know that chocolate chip cookie is soo much tastier.

Because fast food restraunts are getting sued for making kids fat.. they figured they would be the next target of either a suit or public condemnation.

Or just projecting the image of social responsibility.

Fear of the rising number of obese children has made cookies evil. We have to be politically correct and promote healthy foods now
