Who are these "people" you are referring to. I LOVED that documentary- and that's what it is, it is not a movie. Maybe you should place this question in the poll section asking us yahooer's what we think of this documentary and if we thought it had any negative effect on how we perceive Al Gore? I have more respect for him now than I did when he was running for President...the documentary is extremely informative with documentation of the facts--- there is nothing fictitious or surreal about it--- which really makes it very scary for our future.

I have No Idea because i personally think that Global Warming is Real and the mankind has alot to do with it (cmon go to a big city and look at all the smoke from the cars, and you know how bad factories can be) I Like Al Gore and do not think he's trying to "'brainwash' people"

You've got to realize by now that anyone who isn't for global warming is against it as being a conspiracy. So, of course it naturally becomes brainwashing.
Global warming is a very real issue, but it is coming from beneath the oceans as well as from above. The oceans are rising in temperature and the scientists just will not consider the fact that some of the issues lie beneath us, and not just above.
The rain forest do not emit methane into the atmosphere. That's a load of crap. The trees, ALL TREES exchange carbon dioxide and in exchange give off oxygen. Since when have the rules of science changed?? This is a documented and sustained fact. If the scientists are trying to change that, they're lying. The more trees we cut down, the less the oxygen flow. There's nothing left to take in the other gases.

We all have enemies--and typically, those that take a strong stance on something have detractors that take a strong adversarial stance. Al Gore is certainly not the only one that believes this--Tom Brokaw and Jimmy Carter are also 'leading the charge'.
There are people that believe the concept of global warming is 'the sky is falling'. In fact, climatical fluctuations in temperature have gone on every few hundred years since the beginning of time---in context, the Industrial Age is a recent development and the resulting depletion of the ozone layer is, in fact, real---and, in fact, greatly sped up by vehicle and industry exhaust.

because gore told the truth for the freaking moron that says there is no proof i have yet to see there is any proof you are a free thinking person after all theres no "proof" smoking is bad other than the scientist say so and all the ones not bought off by our money hungry freaks say global warming is caused by man if there is any chance wouldnt it make sense to leave the kids a planet to live on the money you leave your children does not matter if there is no earth to live on its ok to be afraid but saying its not true doesnt make the facts go away

Because Mr. Gore has an agenda of ever more government and regulation, he wants to be part of it, and this "movie" is his vehicle to help him get there. Before you can get the solution you want, first you must create a scary problem.
I'm over 50 and when we were in school, a big ice age was coming (it was all over the tv and we had our Al Gore-types then, too) and by now the U.S. should be under 3 feet of ice.

Its all about money .. The green house gases were warmer and we had a lot more carbine monoxide's on our planet be for all our industry even existed .. All this whoop-la is about money .. Its just a cycle of our planet ... These scientist that are sewing all this garbage are either writing a book trying to push a movie or wanting their 15 minutes of fame... They think we are all moron's....

Because there is no proof that global warming actually is caused by man, and Gore blames factors that do not have a great deal of effect on the atmosphere. Rainforests actually emit more methane into the atmosphere than factories. GO DEFORESTATION!!!!!!!!

I saw the movie and don't think he is a bad person. I am from Canada, so I probably know less about him than Americans.
