Three of my friends that I think are insane(not just jokingly, either) tell me I am insane. So I am assuming I am fine, but I am just parainoid.

Tom, it's better if you take some psychology classes so you can better understand true insanity. For the types of insanity that exist read the DMS IV. It lists all the psychological states that there are, or most of them, anyway.
Now, if by insanity, you mean your friends do crazy, unsafe things, that's not true insanity. It's foolishness. The results of that kind of behavior will teach them (and you?) to be wiser, think before you act, and learn from the results of your actions.

If you believe your friends may indeed have some form of true insanity you should talk to them carefully, in person, not in a group, or just with their parents. Do this sooner than later because mental illness worsens with time, and if caught earlier the prognosis is better. A school counselor can help you figure out if you and your friends actually need professional help or not.
Here's a smile for you: conventional wisdom says, if you think you're insane, you're probably not.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results. So If you find yourself doing that then yes you might be insane. Now if you are talking crazy, then only sane people think they are crazy. If you were really crazy, you would have no idea that you are.

I just become insane for a particular thing that happen but not totally. Maybe they just think you're insane because what you do is not normally done by them.

Here is a list and articles on the symptoms and treatment for insanity:

Even if you are, as long as it doesn't affect you or others in a debilatory way, I wouldn't worry about it. If it does affect your life in a bad way, you might perhaps think of seeking treatment.
Best wishes

if you think you might be insane then you are thinking illogically on purpose which means that you are mearly thinking outside of the box. if these people you speak of are seriously insane and they seriously think you are insane then i would take their word for it because they would know what it means to be insane. but then one must pose the question. what is insanity? insane people can find reason in the way that they think and if their mind finds reason in their actions then they think they are thinking logically... hmmm... i think i might be insane too...

I agree with your first respondent...Insane people always think that they are completely sane...If you question your sanity it's probably because you are sane....
