I'm not the smartest man in the world but I do know this- DO NOT put making money priority over your happiness on the job. High salary does NOT equal happy career. You will spend most of your time working and sleeping in life, so get a job that makes you happy regardless of pay, and a very good mattress!

Start as a teacher. Get a Master's degree and then PhD in Education. This will open a lot of doors. You could be a school principal, work for the Ministry of Education, work at a university (either managing the Education Faculty or training new teachers), get a job with the teacher's union or go to work for a textbook company. The more qualifications and experience you have, the more money you'll make.
For example, someone with five years' classroom experience and a history of involvement with our local teachers' union can transition from the classroom to the union for a starting salary of upwards of $110,000.

teaching could get you some money if you work at a prestige university.
i am a hotel manager (given the fact i'm only 20 and don't have a college degree yet) i make 30k+ a year. once i get my degree and move on to a bigger hotel salaries go up to 70k+ or more depending what state and what hotel you work for.
my advice go with the dream job, you wil be happier in the end. you can still afford a nice mercedies by car payments and still travel. you will be more happier overall with a job you wanted for a long time though

I don't know about being rich, but you could teach at international schools. This would give you the chance to travel and see other countries. Often salaries at International schools are much higher and you live "better" than nationals.

Richness is not in materialistic things. Teaching is a dedication and it's riches come from knowing that you helped others to achieve their goals in life through your input and support.
Most riches are gained through corruption theft and greed or by cheating and stepping on people to get where you want to go. is this the type of lifestyle you wish to lead?

Go into business and make as much money as you possibly can, because you obviously don't have what it really takes to be a good teacher if you're so concerned with your material well-being.

If you are materialistic do not go into teaching. You'll be sorry you did, because you'll never be able to live the lifestyle you are looking for, and it's a bad career for meeting rich men to marry.
