Many studies have shown that marijuana causes distorted perceptions, problems with memory and learning, trouble thinking and problem solving, hallucinations, delusions, impaired memory, and disorientation. This explains why so many potheads are crazy liberals who hate their own country and come up with some many crack-POT conspiracy theories about 9-11. And yet, they are in government (half the DNC and a few republicans) and are taken seriously every day.

Silly child.

I do not advocate any child starting taking any drugs, even marijuana.

However you are so wrong on so many points.

Ever hear of William F. Buckley? A world renowned TRUE conservative who has tried marijuana & basically admitted the US government has it all wrong.

A large percentage of my conservative friends have either tried marijuana in the past or still use it. They all support legalization & none suffer from "distorted perceptions, problems with memory and learning trouble thinking and problem solving, hallucinations, delusions, impaired memory, and disorientation". They all love their country & none that I know of belive in the silly conspiracy theories you mention.

Most peer reviewed studies disagree with your discriptions & the link you provided.

Obviously you don't know what you are talking about. When you finally do, let me know Mr Neocon.

PS - neocons are NOT conservatives. They are tax & spend RINOs who want a big government to micromanage citizen's private lives.

Dude I am a Republican and I smoke weed everyday.

Yes marijuana does cause distorted perceptions, problems with memory and learning, trouble thinking and problem solving, minor hallucinations (tracers mostly), some delusions, imparied memory, and disorentation. But what you completely fail to recognize is these effects can also be good. Different perceptions are a good thing, especially in writing, music, and art.

Prime example of someone taken not so seriously, but weed helped him have a a career: Hunter S. Thompson...although he was a crazy liberal too.

Opium user: Edgar Allan Poe

All writers, actors, and many other celebrities before the 1900's were high on something!

Now, back to the conservative/liberal issue you brought up...so you really think that a politician is going to smoke weed? And who cares what crazy crack-pot ideas liberals come up with anyway, we know they are wrong, sh!t I know they are wrong even when I am high...it does provide me a good laugh though!

I smoke weed and I love America. So don't ever equate a weed smoker with anti-america again bro! Weed will be legal before 2012 and the entire world will be a happier and more laid back place!

You should know that Jefferson drafted the declaration of independence on hemp paper. Guess we better throw that out too...

While we're on the subject of drugs, I have an interesting anecdote for you. I happen to know someone who went to school with George W. He mentioned that he had voted for him the first time, and we happened to be sharing a joint (My friend happens to be a very successful business owner, as you can probably guess, given that he went to school with a Bush. So there goes your theory about everyone who smokes pot, but I digress). I mentioned that seemed an ironic time to mention that, considering what we were doing. A smirk came over his face, and he replied

"Well...not really, considering that the last time I saw him he was doing coke off of a urinal."

I thought you'd enjoy that.

Harry Anslinger would be proud of you, now stop watching reefer madness, it's distorting your mind. That is one large load of bullshit. As a business owner and a person who imbibes occasionally with a doobie or three the only thing I can say is, I'm gonna go get drunk and meet you out on the highway.

first I'm not defending pot heads, I don't think liberals hate the country, I think they hate what the administration has done to the country as far as constitutional freedoms and protections are concerned.

first off... that's most likely heavy use over a long term period...

alcohol also has many similar effects... many studies have also shown...

but most people don't use it heavily enough for it to have a huge negative effect on them...

I never really got into weed, but I drink occasionally...
