I feel so angry about everything right now and I don't understand why, and I don't know what to do. I'm not angry at something or someone in specific, I just feel incredibly angry right now and I don't like it.

You're OK. Honestly. There can be so many reasons you're feeling angry. I advise against pondering why. It will just make you angrier. Life is stressful. Perhaps you're growing and just had a surge of testosterone. Perhaps something is bothering you that your mind isn't willing to work on right now. Maybe someone hurt you and you're having difficulty admitting it. Maybe you've said or done something that you know hurt someone else and you're intensely frustrated with yourself. Maybe the family is driving you loony. All that matters right now is that you relax.

Unless you act in a manner completely out of control (violence towards others OR yourself), you can work through this. Take some deep breaths. Inhale on 1...breathe in through your nose...exhale on 8. Do something to distract yourself. Look at some mindless Yahoo answers:); watch TV and lie down. Give yourself a break.

It's alright, kiddo. As Beavis & Butthead or Terrence & Philip or Bill & Ted once said - "Bad days suck." Sometimes our hormones and the chemicals governing our little brains just explode. It's scary. Try and get through it without giving in to it. Put on some good music, try to go to sleep... it will be different in the morning, or in a minute - breathe deeply and treat yourself to some mindless distraction. Sounds like your brain and body need a respite.

The good thing is that you don't like feeling angry. Also, you are reaching out for help, and that is a good too.

The only thing I can say to you is that you need to reach out to those close to you for help. You need to talk this over with someone that you trust to help you sort through your feelings.

Maybe some counseling would help you. There is no shame in reaching out for help, and I believe that with help you will get through this.

For right now, try to relax. Maybe listen to some music you like or watch your favorite movie. Try to let go of your anger.

I bid you peace.

you already know the real reason. See I am going through the same thing, I get angry way more than I need to be or should be, but I won't address the main reason and that makes me angry at everything else that would normally just aggravate me then I'd get over it. But anyway, good question. I hope you get the courage to address the real issue. I wish I had it.

I get like that sometimes. I hate the world. For me it's because I'm disappointed with life. I've made wrong choices and I'm angry about that. There is no one that I can count on. I feel I have no control over my life. I don't have enough money to make changes in my life. I'm stuck. I have nothing to look forward to. I think lack of control in ones life and not having the means to change it, causes alot of frustration.

I don't think it's PMS like the other chick does.

I think it is probably everything that has gotten on your nerves in the past few days [weeks, months, etc.] that's probably adding up to making you mad. Sometimes you just feel like being away from people and it's not that they did anything its just that the stress gets to you and makes you angry at the world. Sometimes you just need to air out.

Good Luck!

Robby, we all get and feel that way at times. We don't understand or know why it happens, it just does. It's not what happens, but how you deal with it that matters. Do something to totally take your mind off it. Call a friend and talk about old times, watch an old movie you really like, just don't sit there and mop, get up and try to work it off.

I don't know why you're feeling this way .. but you can always listen to loud, angry music (works for me all the time), or do something like jog around the block. Punch a pillow or something.

Did you say something you didn't mean to that was hurtful?
Has someone gossiped about you when you know what they said was/ wasn't true?
Too much homework?
Bad day?
Tired?
Just go through your day and figure out what happened in the day, like what bad things happened.
If you find that the bad thing wasn't today, go through your week and try to find out what's wrong.
Maybe your depressed, so do something you like to do and try to get your mind off of whatever you're depressed about.

Just look at the mirror and say to yourself i am happy i am happy i am a happy person i am a happy camper, say it. be happy smell some flowers, eat some ice cream something sweet, sweeten up your life, go out to the movied eat candy and enjoy a movie. ask someone out, put some music on and dance, laugh without wanting to laugh, laugfh histerically.
