I think that you should just give him some time. While you're doing that take some time to dress up nice and make sure he sees. That might help. Other than that just be nice and see what happens.

Give him time and space to think about it. MAybe because you told him what you feel, it made him feel confused. But hey! he still considered your feelings and decided to think it over. Who knows, maybe he will realize that he likes you too. Just give him time.
