network printing?

i have 2 pc at home.the printer is connected to the main one.
i can print over the network.

is there any way to print from my computer when the main computer is off with the connected printer ON?

You can print from either computer but the one connected to the printer needs to be on. Otherwise you could use a print server to connect printer to the network and print from either PC if one is off.

NO...

If you want you'll need a data switch for your printer so that you can print even the main computer is off.
