rank them please-
I don't care how many records Manning may break, no way is is better then John Elway, Montana, or Marino. Theres nothing he can do that they could'nt except they were better at it, like better in the clutch and better at scrambling.

and don't answer if youre too young to have actually seen all them play because if you did, theres no way you can say Manning is as good.

I should'nt even have to put elway montana marino in that group because there are head and shoulders above that group

I wouldn't even think about saying Tom Brady is the best quarterback ever. 1. Montana 2. Marino 3. Favre 4. Brady 5. Manning 6. Elway 7. Aikman

You can't compare QB's like that. Manning and Marino are by far the best pure passers. Elway and Young are the best as far as total package goes. Brady, Montana and Aikman are just winners. Favre on the other hand I think goes into the same category as Joe Namath. They are both beloved because of their image more than their actual performance. Farve has the NFL record for INT and Namath threw more INT than TD. Don't get me wrong they are both great but they wouldn't be my first choice to start a team.

Montana and Marino at the top definitely.

After that, I'd put Aikman No. 1 -- revived a DEAD team and made them a dynasty. No. 2 for Brady (see No. 1) but the Pats D has had more to do with their dynasty then the 'Boys. 3. Favre -- love the guy's approach to the game but he is wild at times.

After 3, look far below. That's where Manning and Young are. Both have tremendous stats but played on high-profile offenses. They were both expected to win more often than they did. One ring is nice but both should have more with the talent they have/had at their disposal.

1. Favre
2. Brady
3. Young
4. Aikman
5. Manning

When Favre retires, and these last few mediocre years have passed and he is elected in the HOF, he will go down as one of the top NFL players (not just QB's) of all time. He has it all - records, mvp, superbowl rings, guts, streaks, and heart.

Young had more overall talent than Aikman, Brady is a stud who has more rings then Young and Favre combined, and Manning will move his way up my list once his legacy comes into full effect (as I believe it may just be getting started)
