3) do u mean the electron transport chain? Basically what this is is in cellular respiration, most the energy is stored in electrons, which are passed to electron shuttles, called NAD+. These electron shuttles then pass it along to the electron transport chain, in which electrons are passed down, with lowering energy, to oxygen. As the electrons go down teh chain, the energy is used to pump protons out of the mitochondrial matrix, and then ATP synthase or F0F1-ATPase can generate ATP from this electrochemical gradient.

Basically, know that cellular respiration involves an electron transport chain, and the shuttle used to transport electrons is NAD+, (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide)

In photosynthesis, there is a similar, but different shuttle. It is NADP+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate.) there is also the FAD+ shuttle that the guy above mentioned, but this is only in photosynthesis.
